Why did you start your business?
I believe this is my purpose. I came through this thing, this life altering thing, and found a new outlook that gave my life a deeper meaning. When I started to share my story with others, it amazed me at how truly touched people were by it. If people who heard my story were finding inspiration, peace and solace, then that's what this journal is about.... sharing my story FOR others.
Biggest Achievement so far.....
Getting up each day and facing the world with a smile is my biggest life achievement. Being asked to speak at a TEDx event is by far the biggest so far on this new journey.

Greatest Lesson Learned....
It's a 'practice' - just like anything else you aspire to master. You much practice diligently every day.
Person, Place or Thing that inspires you
While books and children have always been a source of inspiration for me, now that I can not longer read or write, I have come be inspired by movies as well. I recently saw the movie Collateral Beauty with my husband and kids, knowing that it was something we all needed to see together. The plot of the movie takes us through a seemingly tragic event and shows how it can awaken us to the beauty and miracles that happen for us every day.
