East Hills Endodontics

"Be the change you wish to see in the world"...Mahatma Gandhi

Why did you start your business?

I started working as an endodontic associate in Plantation, Florida before moving to New York and I always wanted my own autonomy. I wanted to dictate the days that I worked and create a unique atmosphere where patients genuinely feel cared for. I wanted an environment where employees actually love coming to work. Lastly and very important I wanted my mission statement to become a reality: "Dedicated to providing the highest quality endodontic care in a warm and professional environment."

Biggest Achievement so far.....

East Hills Endodontics is the biggest achievement so far. First of all to move to another state entirely and build a practice starting with one front desk and one assistant. To survive in the dental specialty arena is entirely referral based and I did not know anyone at the time. With hardwork, networking and providing excellent care the practice has grown to 13 employees. With the emotional support of my parents and my fiancé at the time in 2006 this achievement was made possible.

Greatest Lesson Learned....

When you don't actively work on evolving yourself, life becomes stagnant. Change is the greatest lesson learned! Change allows you to move forward and forces you to experience new things.

Person, Place or Thing that inspires you

My father is an incredible human being. He has taught me from a very young age that nothing is impossible. I was an extremely shy child growing up and he would encourage me to engage in various sports and to perform in concerts. He taught me the value of hand work and not to complain when things didn't turn out in my favor but to revisit to see how and what I could have done for a better outcome. He taught me that very early on not to rely on anyone to provide me and I should strive to create my success in life. He is a believer in philanthropy and in mentorship. He believes that you should create your vision from very young and stay true to your goals.

Words to Foster others....

Create a vision for your life...what does that look like? A big question to ask thyself. Associate yourself with likeminded positive individuals who share similar life goals and you feel who also be supportive of you.
