Why did you start your business?
After spending a decade in national media as a magazine writer and editor, I wanted to use my storytelling expertise to help brands I feel passionately about create richer connections with their consumers: I launch blogs, write website copy, advertorials, press releases, newsletters and speeches, and I actively seek out projects for small, women-owned businesses. It’s truly the honor of my life to help women tell their stories—whether that’s writing their website copy, helping them get a speech into great shape, or revamping their LinkedIn profiles. It’s amazing to remind them of their achievements and to help them brag about themselves.

Greatest Lesson Learned....
Get paid what you're worth. A wise woman told me, never negotiate against yourself. Be firm and know your “numbers.” Never be afraid to say them out loud.
Person, Place or Thing that inspires you
My mother, aunt and grandmothers all inspire me daily. I come from a long line of strong, creative women. Beyond that, I am inspired by the women who are fighting for a more equitable political system: Stacey Abrams, Kamala Harris, AOC, Ayanna Pressley and Elizabeth Warren. The things that inspire me are reading, writing, cooking and traveling.
