Why did you start your business?
I spent 15 years as a Fashion Designer/Merchandiser & Trend Director, traveling the world and designing apparel for the top retailers in the country. I call this my 'Street Cred'.
When I stepped away from my industry to start a family, I began building my indie brand: Glam Mom New York, Inc. My goal? To exhibit my passion for design, styling and creativity through premium products for moms and their kiddos.
I wanted a place where moms could purchase one-of-a-kind gifts for kids—and something fabulous for themselves!—without leaving home. All items are made with passion, designed with a touch of whimsy and delivered to your door with love and gratitude.
Biggest Achievement so far.....
Being featured on Fios1’s “Heroes on Our Island” along with the amazing Spectrum Designs Organization which teaches and employs autistic individuals to screenprint products for local businesses (including mine). I am proud as heck to donate $1 of every sale to them.

Person, Place or Thing that inspires you
I am 'multi-passionate', so I can't pick just one thing. My boys, my friends and family, giving back, visually beautiful things, artisans, anything Moroccan or Indian, individual style, pops of color, healthy living, faith, nature, positive energy, decorating on a budget, collaborating, inner beauty, shopping, food, magazines, yoga, traveling…..heck, I get inspired when I go to Whole Foods!

"Think" like your customer for your business to succeed. Get our of your own way and put yourself in your customer’s shoes. What do they want more of from your brand? How can i thrill them? How can I make their lives easier? What can I offer them next?
