“You can’t always wait for the perfect time. Sometimes, you dare to do it because life is too short to wonder what could have been.”
“Be kind for everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about.”
Why did you start your business?
After losing a loved one to suicide in 2004, a few years later I decided to uproot my fashion business career and pivot to a career in mental health. Since then, I have received a Master's Degree in Social Work from Columbia University, opened my own group private practice, and I promote mental health awareness through public speaking events, corporate wellness events, and articles I have written. I take a holistic approach to mental health to help clients cope with life’s challenges and transitions.
Biggest Achievement so far.....
My biggest achievement is first and foremost being a mom and as far as my career it is that I changed to be doing a career where I am truly living my purpose. I believe that passion is a crucial part of success. My career is so rewarding, fulfilling, and a place where I can really make a difference.

Greatest Lesson Learned....
I have learned that life does not always look the exact way we want it to, but that there is an ability to find good in everything. There is always hope, wonder, joy, and curiosity in the world around us.
Person, Place or Thing that inspires you
My brother is my biggest inspiration for his fearlessness and dogged pursuit of excellence in everything he does, even if it requires taking major career risks to get there. Sometimes we have to take risks which can lead to great rewards. I believe that a lot of good can come out of pushing the boundaries of our own comfort zone.
Words to Foster others....
Believe in yourself. It is okay to fail or do something wrong because it is all about how you recover and move forward.
